Inventory Folders

Folders act as directories to which you could assign various items and they can be used in any way you wish to help you keep track of things. Some folder examples are, "tested by team A", "handle with care item", "Freezer B", etc.

• Adding A Folder
  • To add a product folder, click on the “Add Folder” button to open the new folder dialogue where you could specify information about the folder you are creating.
  • Enter the name for the new folder and specify whether you would like to make this folder non-listable. When a folder is set as non-listable, all products added to this folder will not be ready-to-list and you will not be able to list them to any selling venue.
  • When you are finished, click the “Add Folder” button and the folder will be displayed in the diagram.
• Editing A Folder
  • To edit a folder or change its attributes, click on the folder name from the diagram to display its details.
  • When the details are displayed, you are free to change the folder name, set the folder as listable or non-listable, or set the folder as inactive. When you set the folder as inactive, the folder will not appear in the list of folders when adding products.
• Deleting A Folder
  • If you would like to delete a folder, click Its name in the diagram and click the “Delete Folder” button. You will be prompted to confirm the deletion of the folder. If the folder contains products, you will be asked which folder to move the products to, prior to deleting. If a new folder is not specified, you will not be able to delete the folder.
• Folder Diagram
  • The folder diagram provides an easy view of your folder structure. Similar to directories on your computer’s disk drive, the folder hierarchy stems from “Product Folders”. Any folder you create will be placed under this directory.
