Setting up your eBay Account

To make adding an eBay auction account as secure as possible, we will never ask you for your username and password. Instead, to add an eBay account, click on the GET INFO FROM eBay button. When you click this button, a new browser window will open that will connect you directly to eBay and prompt you to enter your eBay username and password. When you enter your eBay login information, click SIGN IN, then click AGREE AND CONTINUE. eBay will automatically supply a special key to the system to access your specific eBay preferences, as well as list and manage your auctions.

NOTE : For this feature to work properly, you must have cookies enabled in your browser.

  • After clicking the "Get Info From eBay button", a popup window will open.
  • This is eBay asking for your login.  Don't be concerned that this step says Laris.  Laris is based on the Laris engine and you need to allow the Laris backend to communicate with your eBay account.
  • After inputting your eBay username and password, click the Agree and Continue > button to allow the software to communicate with your eBay account.
  • After agreeing, your eBay options page within Laris will populate with a bunch of options.
  • You'll see your Account name and feedback listed at the top.
  • You don't need to configure the rest of the settings right now, you can scroll down and click the save user button to save your current progress.
  • When you go back to the configuration screen (click on [[Marketplace Seller Accounts & Settings]] and then underneath the the step, click on your eBay account) you'll see all of the configurable information.
